  • Grace Delgado, M.S.

    Data Analyst

Grace is a data analyst who leads the ground reference data acquisition and implementation of OpTIS mobile, and co-leads the remote sensing validation process. Equipped with a geology masters degree, Grace developed an interest in applications of remote sensing to monitor Peru’s tropical glaciers, and at Dagan, advancing efforts for environmental resource preservation is one of her key professional values.

  • Katelyn Dolan, Ph.D.

    Research Scientist

With nearly 15 years of experience Katelyn brings a passion for researching the dynamics of terrestrial ecosystems with her to Dagan. Her experiences have included using field
measurements and passive and active remote sensing technologies to map, monitor and model dynamic forest, grassland and cropland ecosystems under various climate and management conditions. She holds a PhD in Geographical Sciences from the University of Maryland along with a MS in Natural Resources and BA in Environmental Conservation from the University of New Hampshire.

  • Justin Fisk, Ph.D.

    Senior Scientist

Justin leads the development of Dagan’s processes-based modeling, combining 20 years of software engineering experience with over a decade of ecosystem modeling experience. Previously, he has led software engineering teams in private industry, and model development teams for forest, land-use-change, and agriculture models at the University of New Hampshire, The University of Maryland, and Applied Geosolutions. When time allows, Justin is usually found with his wife and dog sailing the waters of the east coast.

  • Alexandra Halligan, M.S.

    Data Analyst

As a recent graduate, Alex brings a fresh data analytical skill-set and an unyielding passion for sustainability to our team. Her previous research experience includes agricultural modeling and hydrology, which granted her the opportunity to publish her undergraduate research at the age of 21. Alex’s united love for mathematics and environmental sciences through data analytics makes make her a perfect fit here at Dagan. With her growing abilities and passion for global sustainable change, Alex is thrilled to be a part of a team of like-minded individuals.

  • Pete Ingraham, M.S.

    Senior Data Analyst

Pete has spent more than 20 years focusing on solving challenging environmental issues in climate change mitigation and land conservation. His depth of experience in ecology and biogeochemistry, geographic information systems, and data analysis makes him well-suited to lead Dagan’s biogeochemical modeling team. When he is away from his desk, he can be found riding his bike or hiking with his family.

  • Lindsay Melendy, M.S.

    Geospatial Scientist

Lindsay has worked in the research sector for 6 years, integrating and analyzing geospatial data and remote sensing data to achieve project goals. Lindsay’s critical thinking and technical skills drive her work developing algorithms for project applications and creating visuals, to conveying findings to clients. She has worked on a wide range of projects from studying the effects of natural and anthropogenic disturbances on forest carbon sequestration to delineating logging impacts in Indonesia. When not in the office, Lindsay enjoys hiking and looking for new adventures.

  • Tom Olson

    Software Engineer

Tom has more than a decade of experience writing, maintaining, and deploying software. He thinks the power of the modern cloud requires a commitment to engineering rigor. He believes work should serve a purpose. He tends to forget where he left his coffee cup.

  • Shawn Patti

    Devops Engineer

Shawn has over 20 years’ experience in the field of information technology. He has performed roles from systems administration and engineering to Senior Management. This broad background allows him to satisfy the broad requirements of devops engineering while mentoring newer individuals to the trade. Shawn is a U.S. Army Veteran and graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University with a Bachelors in Information Technology. Shawn enjoys hiking, boating, and running.

  • Nate Rubin

    Software Engineer

For the past 10 years, Nate has worked to apply software engineering skills to various problems in the geospatial domain. He has built web based analysis tools for the public, as well as data processing software that is used internally at Dagan using a wide variety of tools, including the Python, C++ and JavaScript languages and the OGR/GDAL, Django and React software libraries. While his main focus is on data analysis, Ali also enjoys working as part of the software development team to improve the geospatial data processing. Ali has a bachelor’s degree in computer science, recently graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Ph.D in mathematics, and is excited to use ideas and techniques from both of these areas in regenerative agriculture.

We are dedicated to improving soil health because it serves as a foundation for life in so many forms. Healthy soils are the source of nutrients in the food we eat, the storage systems for carbon from the atmosphere, and the key ingredient for keeping drinking water healthy and safe. With the importance of our mission in mind, we are fastidious and eager to do things the right way for our stakeholders and our planet.

We are looking for more team members!
